Hi I am from group 1. I liked your topic about if Stevens life is considered to be a success or not. I understood that is work more important or love is more important. I personally agree that love is more important in life. Because, what remains after your life is people who have been connected to. My question is in your pod cast you said that it is Stevens choice to live as a bottler and he could have chosen other wise but I have a different perspective. There is no mother in the picture so assuming Steven’s was raised with a single parent the only affection he could have learned was from his father. Steven’s father put’s his job is the most important thing in his life and that would have been the only love Steven’s could have seen. So, living as a bottler is Steven’s way to show love to his fathers and to others. For him there was no choice in life but was the only thing he knew.

How do you think about that?

First of all, thank you for your question, and I think it’s a good point. I don’t think everyone is just affected by their parents. We can be fully influenced by your school teachers, friends, people around you. And I think the average person trys to fill in the gaps, not try to follow them. In this situation, I think it’s definitely his choice to live that way. I hope you have a good answer.
