I made a few day trips into London when I stayed in England in '98, and I was there for a week in August 2014 as well to do some research for my university. I like London; it’s never boring, it’s big, there are tons of sights to see. It’s just paint-peelingly expensive, and the food remains horrendous. Occasionally there’s a nice bistro with French food, or an Indian curry place. When in London, be thankful for these small mercies, and go in. Otherwise, you’ll never find it again.
