Most Canadians either love or hate Toronto. It’s big, it’s fast, everyone is there, and there’s always something to do; it’s Canada’s version of New York and Chicago. The downside is that Torontonians are certainly not shy about assuming they are the center of the country/universe, and sometimes that legendary Canadian politeness is stretched thin here. Typical for Toronto, they wouldn’t let me in to the main library at UT. I like to visit TO, but I’d rather live in the more laid-back outlying areas. |
